Timeless Sounds and Electronic Horizons Meet at the 54th Istanbul Music Festival

As part of the 54th Istanbul Music Festival organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), Disko Klasik brought together different musical eras and forms of expression on a single stage, offering audiences an unforgettable experience. Held at Salon İKSV with Stoneline as the performance sponsor, the event stood out as one of the festival’s most distinctive gatherings, creating a compelling dialogue between acoustic and electronic music.

At Stoneline, we see supporting diverse forms of artistic expression as an integral part of our corporate culture. We believe that creative connections between disciplines enrich cultural production and inspire new perspectives. With this vision, we were proud to support Disko Klasik, an event that built a musical bridge between the past and the future while offering audiences a truly unique experience.

The evening opened with a performance by David Bergmüller, who reimagined the centuries-old tradition of the lute through a contemporary sonic lens. Recognized as one of today’s most innovative lute players, Bergmüller combined his deep knowledge of early music repertoire with improvisation and live electronic elements, delivering a captivating performance. His approach expanded the boundaries of the acoustic world, taking listeners on a journey that was both historical and experimental.

In the second half of the program, Fejká transformed the atmosphere of Salon İKSV with his immersive blend of atmospheric melodies, deep house, and techno rhythms. Known for drawing inspiration from nature, the artist skillfully balanced melancholy and energy throughout his live set, creating a deeply engaging experience for the audience. Having performed at renowned clubs and festivals across Europe, Fejká once again demonstrated why he is considered one of the most exciting names in contemporary electronic music.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Disko Klasik was the powerful dialogue established between two distinct musical approaches. The connection between David Bergmüller’s exploration of the acoustic realm and Fejká’s contemporary electronic soundscape highlighted music’s transformative power beyond genres and time periods. Through this unique encounter, Salon İKSV became more than a concert venue—it evolved into an interdisciplinary space for artistic exploration and experience.

At Stoneline, we remain committed to supporting projects that encourage artistic production, foster new perspectives, and give visibility to creative forms of expression. We were delighted to be part of this special evening within the 54th Istanbul Music Festival and proud to share in the inspiring energy that resonated both on stage and throughout the audience.

Driven by our belief in the transformative power of culture and the arts, we will continue to contribute to projects that nurture creativity and create space for diverse forms of expression. Disko Klasik will be remembered not only as an extraordinary musical experience but also as a powerful example of the dialogue that can emerge between past and future, tradition and innovation.

Beyond Borders: Salque & Peirani in Concert with Stoneline

The gardens of the French Palace hosted a truly special concert as part of the IKSV Music Festival. Cellist François Salque and accordionist Vincent Peirani took the audience beyond borders, blending classical music with world and jazz influences.

A Classical Piece, A Fresh Interpretation

At the heart of the concert was the Adagio from Mendelssohn’s Cello Sonata No. 2. Yet, through Salque and Peirani’s unique interpretation, the piece moved beyond the conventional. It came alive on stage with an emotionally rich, simple, and striking performance.

A Journey Through Tonal Landscapes

This evening offered a harmony of music’s serene and passionate sides. At times, a single note held the depth of a poem. At others, the dialogue between the two instruments built a bridge between past and future. The transitions between tones were seamless—everything in its place, yet nothing predictable.

A Touch of Art from Stoneline

At Stoneline, we believe in the beauty nature offers as well as the power of art. This special concert was a joyful opportunity to bring together the grace of music and the timelessness of natural stone.

Thank You

We would like to thank all our guests who shared this evening with us in the historic setting of the French Palace. We look forward to meeting again in the inspiring world of music.

Stoneline : Is Proud To Contribute To The Türkiye Pavilion At The 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale Di Venezia

Venice Biennale 19th International Architecture Exhibition

Could the future of architecture lie in our reconnection with nature?
This year, the Türkiye Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale seeks answers to this very question through the thought-provoking exhibition titled “The Grounded”

Coordinated by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and curated by Ceren Erdem and Bilge Kalfa, The Grounded treats soil not merely as a building material, but as a way of thinking — a medium for learning, reflecting, and envisioning new possibilities.

Thinking with Soil: An Interactive Architectural Experience

The Grounded invites visitors to feel, sense, and reconnect with the earth.
As an interactive installation, the exhibition offers an inspiring vision for sustainable, resilient, and ecologically harmonious ways of building and living.

Through this work, the curators propose a bold and timely idea:
Soil is not just a surface we stand on — it is a shared ground from which we can build the future.

A Collective Creation: Contributors & Collaborators

The Grounded is the result of a rich collective effort.
Individual contributors include Hüseyin Aksoy, Michael Akstaller, E. Füsun Alioğlu & Senem Akçay, Ali Mahmut Demirel, Sinem Dişli, Yelda Gin, Ali Miharbi, Özgül Öztürk, Serkan Taycan, and Orkan Telhan.

Team contributors feature Bire-Pan, Common Action Walls, Herkes İçin Mimarlık & Poçolana Works, Mono Earth, Ozruh, Rec II, ReYard House, Solidified, and Yalın Mimarlık, all of whom enrich the exhibition with diverse perspectives and practices.

See You in Venice on May 10!

Recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious architectural events, the Venice Architecture Biennale opens its doors on May 10, 2025, and will run until November 23.

At Stoneline, we are proud to be part of this powerful narrative — one where architecture reunites with nature and where the voice of the earth becomes part of the design.
