NERO METAL is a natural stone from the slate group, defined by its layered structure and naturally relief-textured surface. Originating from sandstone, its naturally fractured formation creates a surface that is even yet never completely flat—an attribute that both defines the stone’s character and provides a significant slip-resistance advantage in outdoor applications.

Slate is particularly preferred in outdoor and landscape architecture. NERO METAL can be confidently used in garden pathways, terrace and courtyard flooring, pool surroundings, parking transition zones, outdoor seating areas, stair treads, retaining walls, and landscape wall claddings. Its natural surface texture enhances grip even when wet, making it especially suitable for areas with high slip-resistance requirements.

In terms of color and texture, slate offers solutions in grey, anthracite, brown, rust tones, and intermediate shades depending on the project.
